What are your interests and hobbies?
I am a law student so very interested in how the law will be affected by artificial intelligence and also in the law and human rights. My hobbies are football and kick boxing.

How long have you been coming to Rose Bowl?
About seven years, since I was 16. I saw a leaflet lying on the pavement about a youth club, picked it up, saw the map and realised it was near and headed round.

What do you do at Rose Bowl?
I did a bike maintenance course, CV workshops and I did a CBT certificate in driving a moped as part of Summerversity. This got me a job.

How has Rose Bowl helped you?
The staff at Rose Bowl have helped me with all aspects of getting employment and assited educationally. Clive helped me get on a course at Southwark College which helped get me into university. Clive also helped with my UCAS application and securing housing.

What are the most important things you have learnt?
Clive is my mentor. I have learnt resilience, hard work and seriousness. I have learnt from both Clive and Dawn to see the bigger picture and not to be put off by obstacles.

What is the most fun you have ever had?
I really enjoyed the bike maintenance course with Yes Outdoors. It made me discover how much I like cycling. I got to keep the bike afterwards and could cycle places and that helped with my physical and mental health and reduced my anxiety.

What would you say to a young person that has never been here before?
Come and give it a try. Don't let anything discourage you from asking for help - there are limitless opportunities, all the support you will ever need as a young person is here.

Do you have any goals?
To finish my degree and after that find a training contract and to qualify as a solicitor.

How is Rose Bowl helping you get there?
I have recently joined the board as youth representitive. The Friends of Rose Bowl members saw something in me and invited me to become a trustee which I accepted. This has made me realise how much I love youth work, and that was something I hadn't even thought about before. I am now helping with funding applications to external bodies, for example we have just got £15k to start up a new music mentoring project and we will be working on more.
